Since 1932 the growing area of La Mancha has an official recognition as one of the oldest areas in Spain.
The Governing Body is responsible for ensuring the quality of the vineyard, winemaking and promoting the wines worldwide. AIC was created in 2007 and embraces different agricultural associations and cooperatives from La Mancha.
